Bruges is a storybook come to life, and it's tiny — a flat, mostly car-free centre you can cross in twenty minutes, so little legs never have far to go. There are horse-drawn carriages and canal boats, swans to feed, a belfry to climb, chocolate and waffles on every corner, and green space to run.
